User Problem
Copied attachments do not adhere to the configured attachment size limit on Confluence Editor. As a result, attachments that exceed the file limit could be successfully copied (uploaded) to new/other Confluence page, which will impact Confluence's Storage Usage, specifically on Confluence sites with Free or Standard license tier.
Suggested Solutions
To expand the Attachment Maximum Size limit to the Page Copy feature as well, by checking for the configured attachments size limit when a Confluence page is being copied.
Current Workarounds
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
In the interim, we'd strongly suggest that you use the methods outlined in our documentation below to upload attachments to Confluence page.
