Using alphabetical reorder for child pages in space settings isn't updating the page tree

Details

    Description

      Issue Summary

In a few instances, using alphabetical reorder for child pages in space settings does not update the page tree.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Step: Try resetting the pages to "Sort Alphabetically".
      2. Step: Refresh the page.

      Expected Results

      • When pages are re-arranged without using the "Sort Alphabetically" button in Space Settings →, reorder content, the new order is maintained even after refreshing the page.
      • If the pages are re-ordered and the "Sort Alphabetically" button is used, the system reverts everything to alphabetical order. This alphabetical order remains intact upon refreshing the page.

      Actual Results

After resetting to alphabetical order and refreshing the page, it returns to the previous order. The resetting doesn't save.

      Workaround

Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.

Note: This issue isn't reproducible on all Confluence cloud instances.
