Problem
In the recent updates to the Global Space Settings interface(CONFCLOUD-43245 and CONFCLOUD-41748), users lost the ability to see a comprehensive list of all the global spaces available at the Global Setttings> Space Permissions > Individual Spaces (in the URL https://<instance-url>.atlassian.net/wiki/admin/permissions/viewdefaultspacepermissions.action).
Currently, all spaces are being shown in this list. However, this previous ability helped customers to manage workflows (as a workaround), allowing them to extract monthly reports to keep track of their space count and identify spaces without default permission configurations.
Suggested Solution
Introduce a filter (by type), an 'order by' name, or the ability to export this list that allows users to distinguish between global and individual spaces.
Why This Is Important
Efficient space management is crucial for users. The proposed feature to differentiate between global and individual spaces will significantly impact users who manage a large number of spaces. It will simplify their workflow by clearly distinguishing between global and personal spaces, thus improving productivity.
Workaround
Users can request a report from our support team to get the required information directly from Confluence's database. However, this is not a practical or scalable solution.
