Issue Summary
Custom field values not loading in Jira macro when the field is added using its translated name
Steps to Reproduce
- Navigate to https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/account-preferences and update the language to anything else than English
- In Jira, create a custom field and associate it to any screen
- Open the issue where the field is associated and add a value to it
- Navigate to Confluence, open a new page and add Jira macro
- After specifying the filter (e.g. project=XXXX) click the "Display options" menu at the bottom (in your language)
- Select the translated name of the custom field you made in step 2
- Click Insert
Expected Results
The Jira macro loads with the field values
Actual Results
No data shown for the translated custom field
Workaround
- Navigate to https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/account-preferences and update the language to "English (US)"
- Open the Jira macro setting again. The field names should now be shown in English
- Click Insert
Note
- This seems similar to
CONFCLOUD-73361but is different since the behavior doesn't depend on the Atlassian account language setting of the users, rather it's affected by which (original or translated) field name was chosen in the macro setting
