Issue Summary

Site Import is failing with error 'Exception occurred during import: Error importing site'

Steps to Reproduce

1. Take a site backup
2. Try to import the site backup

Expected Results

The site import should be working fine.

Actual Results

UI throws error:
Exception occurred during import: Error importing site

Splunk logs:

Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: com.atlassian.confluence.importexport.ImportExportException: Error happened when importing Cannot clean data in tables before import

DB:

 Hung Task in LRT table in database:
message: cleaning up existing users..

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
