      Summary

Guest users can't access space in the mobile apps - Invite guests to Confluence

The guest users get "Permission needed to continue", where they have guest access to that site.

Both iOS and Andriod App is not supported.

      Suggestion

      1. Enable guest users to access space through the mobile application.
      2. Until the above is implemented, improve the displayed message to clarify that guest user access is not currently supported in the app, and provide an option to open in the browser.

      Workaround

Guest users can access the space via the browser on their computers and mobile devices.

This is affecting our team by not allowing guests to use our mobile app. Please provide a fix. Thank you.

This is absolutely vital.  Our workforce is almost exclusively in the field and they use our wiki every single day, but having to send themselves screenshots or navigate our content-heavy space without the proper interface.  Giving them licenses when they do not create content would be a sincere waste of company resources.

My 50 cents: if you publish a new feature it has to integrate almost perfectly in all places where it can be used. This issue here is a perfect example that end-to-end tests didn't happen for the Confluence guest users feature. Many things did not work until you released improvements or you need to work around the issues.

Therefore, I also consider this as a bug especially because you have increased (Confluence Cloud) subscription prices again. So we can expect that this isn't a "new feature" to implement but instead a bug to be fixed.

Very big issue for us.... we need to be able to invite our guests to the mobile given most are mobile first now.... is there any workaround in the meantime? Confluence Data Server app?

This is a BUG. I spent hours trying to troubleshoot this with our guests, created my own guest account.

If you do not consider this a bug, at the very least, document it. Very disappointed after being forced to downgrade from Server to Cloud. So many bugs and so many features that made this product work for us have been removed or are broken.
