Issue Summary
The issue is similar to CONFCLOUD-75983 which was previously fixed. However, the same issue of umlauts not displaying properly is still persisting if the Jira data is pulled from an applink from a Jira Server instance.
Steps to Reproduce
- Add a user on the site with the name having accented characters eg. Tomáš
- Create a Jira issue from this user account on a Jira Server instance
- Add a Jira issue macro on the Confluence page to fetch the Jira issue created by this user
- Select the display format = Table
Expected Results
Values with umlauts and accented characters display normally
Actual Results
Values with umlauts and accented characters are not displayed normally and are showing garbled texts.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
