Description
Issue Summary
Adding an excerpt macro makes a table, with a custom column width (my manually increasing each column width), lose its width.
Steps to Reproduce
Scenario 1:
- Add a table to a page and manually increase the column widths so that there is a horizontal scroll bar in edit mode.
- Add excerpt macro to the page and we see the custom width reset to the default width.
Scenario 2:
- Add an except macro to a page
- Now add a table inside the except macro and increase the column widths manually so that there is a horizontal scroll bar.
- Publish the page.
- Edit the page and boom! the custom width is gone again (reset).
Expected Results
The table shouldn't lose its custom width after adding any macro to the page or republishing the page.
Actual Results
The table loses its custom width and it makes really hard for the user to read the large tables which have now shrunk on the page.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
