There is a check in the Connect app descriptor validator that prevents an app from being installed if there is a clash between a macro alias of already installed app with a macro alias of a new app. Based on the initial investigation this check might be unnecessary because it doesn't cause any issues neither with the content body nor with the macro browser.
Additional verification is required to make sure that two macros with the same alias don't cause issues with a macro browser or any other part of Confluence.
See more details in the CONFCLOUD-73785 description and comments.
