      Issue Summary

      Unable to import cloud site backup when the backup file is large eg. >7GB

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Export confluence backup from the cloud site ( >7GB) 
      2. Import to another cloud site

      Expected Results

      The backup file should be restored without issues

      Actual Results

      Failed with error "Exception occurred during import: Error importing site"
      Splunk logs show a generic error

      Could not open Hibernate Session for transaction; nested exception is net.sf.hibernate.exception.GenericJDBCException: Unable to acquire JDBC Connection 
      
      org.springframework.transaction.UnexpectedRollbackException: Transaction rolled back because it has been marked as rollback-only

      Workaround

      At the moment, we are advising our customers to create a local Confluence Server application, so then import the Confluence Cloud backup to this on-prem site. After that, you can take advantage of the Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant tool.
