Description
Summary
When specific configurations are changed in Confluence, this can result in the impact such as having different users able to access certain information, changing the notifications, different home pages, and other functions that could change how Confluence works.
Suggestion
As such changes do not notify the users or administrators, in order to be able to quickly verify and (if needed) revert the changes, this is a suggestion to notify administrators about modifications at:
- The Global Permissions (I.E. Anonymous access enabled)
- The default space permissions.
- The Public Links (Enabled or disabled for the whole site)
- The dashboard/Home page of Confluence.
- The retention period for the Audit Logs.
- Enabling or disabling the Email notification configuration.
- The Header and footer.
- The Site name and/or default logo.
