Summary

Currently, it is possible to work with view-only users by enabling the view space anonymous permissions to a space, and then add users to our site without product access.

Though this is a very useful feature, it doesn't prevent us to accidentally grant these users product access by mistake.

Suggestion

Create a button/label to flag active users without a Confluence license as view-only users, so this way while this label is active for the users we add it, they won't be able to be added on groups that grant product access on Confluence.
