Hi everyone,
I'm pleased to share an update that we've just released to Jira and Confluence Cloud. You can now quote lists, and as a bonus, you can also quote lists that include actions! To find out more about this and other content nesting enhancements, check out the Community post.
These changes will be rolling out over the coming weeks to all accounts, so if you don't see them straight away, they'll be there soon!

Issue Summary
When you try to quote a piece of content with a numbered list or bulleted list the content is not quoted and the quote starts after the list
Steps to Reproduce
- create a bulleted list (like this one)
- select the list
- Go to the + dropdown and select Quote
Expected Results
The list is quoted
Actual Results
The list is not quoted and the quote starts after the list (see screenshot)
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
