As a customer and Confluence administrator, it is ideal to have the freedom to select whatever color is needed for tables. Currently, we have only seven (7) colors available. All the others are simply different hues of the same color.
Why is this important
Gives freedom to the user
Allow for diversification of looks within different Confluence sites (Brand Consistency)
Enables more high contrast options within table (Accessibility)

Since panels on server became tip and info boxes on cloud, we now need a way to organize our data in sections.
- We are mimicking legacy panel boxes by creating 1x2 tables.
We would like to make header cells a custom color so the color scheme matches our company's style.
Please give us the ability to select a custom hex value in table cells.
This is such a simple feature to implement. Why don't we have a solid answer yet?
Definitely want this feature! We used to be able to select black, now we can't. Black background with White text is a common header.
I see that more colors were added to the old editor's table color selection. That was not my original request and I'm not sure anyone wanted this. There seems to have been confusion. I asked for a hex code option for tables in the NEW editor, not new table colors for the old editor.
Support, please supply an update. Is this in your roadmap yet?
This seems like an easy / BIG win for the Confluence userbase.
My users would like to see our brand colors on Confluence pages compared to the table's pastel colors.
