Cannot create a page using custom page templates for space

Issue Summary

When we tried to create a page using the template created for space, after clicking the template nothing happens. The create page dialog just closes itself.

Steps to Reproduce

• Navigate to a space with custom space templates
• Create a page using a custom template.

Expected Results

• Page will be created using the template.

Actual Results

• Create dialog just close after clicking on Create Button

Workaround

• The page can be created using the template if we stay apart from the page tree. For eg if we navigate to Space Settings page and tries to create the page using the template, the page will be created.

Notes

• It affects only the templates that use variables and use an old editor template.
