Description
Issue Summary
In Confluence, when a user creates a Personal Space, it would have the username as the space key. When the older username structure was used, creating a personal space would have its key as the username used and sometimes, the username could include a space. When this user created the personal space, the key would use the space and this makes the following message to be displayed when trying to access the pages inside the space:
Something went wrong.
Refresh the page and try again. If this keeps happening, let us know using the link below.
Steps to Reproduce
- Space with the spacekey that includes a space
- Notice that if we check Space Settings, the page is properly loaded
- Navigate to the other pages in the same space
Expected Results
The page tree loads as usual
Actual Results
The page tree fails to load.
The below exception is thrown in the Developer tools:
PageTree error {networkError: null, graphQLErrors: Array(2)} networkError: null graphQLErrors: (2) [{…}, {…}] __proto__: Object
Workaround
As the spacekey cannot be changed from the UI, please open a support case with us and we can change the spacekey for you until a permanent fix for this bug will be deployed.
Notes
This is no longer reproducible from scratch, because the username structure has changed and this avoids specific characters to be used. Previously, when the usernames were using a different structure, if the user had its username that includes a space, simply creating a personal space would trigger this issue with the current page tree structure on the sidebar.
