Description
Summary
In Confluence, when a user creates a Personal Space, it would have the username as the space key. When the older username structure was used, creating a personal space would have its key as the username used and sometimes, the username could be the whole email for the user. When this user created the personal space, the key would use the "@" character and this makes the following message to be displayed when trying to access the Overview or Blogs page:
Page tree failed to load
Steps to Reproduce
No longer reproducible because the username structure has changed and this avoids specific characters to be used. Previously, when the usernames were using a different structure, if the user had its username as the whole email, simply creating a personal space would trigger this issue with the current page tree structure on the sidebar.
Expected Results
The sidebar should render for the user, including its page tree.
Actual Results
The page tree is not displayed and an error stating that the same failed to load would be displayed instead of the pages:
Notes
- The "@" character is converted to %40. By manually putting the "@" character, the page tree will properly load.
Workaround
Manually change the URL to use the "@" character, or, ask the user to move the pages to a different space, and then, delete and re-create the personal space so the pages can be moved again and the issue will not be presented due to the new username structure used, in which will be used as the space key.
