Cloud Free, Unable to delete some spaces

      Issue Summary

      Within Confluence Cloud free, when a site is initially created you're unable to delete said space even if you're an admin/site-admin. The creator of the space is listed as "Former User" and not yourself.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create Cloud Free site
      2. Create initial space
      3. Attempt to delete said space

      Expected Results

      The space should be available to be deleted.

      Actual Results

      The space is not able to be deleted and there is no option to delete.

      Workaround

      There is no workaround for this issue at this moment.

            I can confirm I have the exact same problem. As there is no support for the free plan I depend on a solution from Atlassian. It's not critical of course, but it would be of course nice to keep Confluence instance clean.

            There cannot be a solution/workaround from the community. It must be directly from Atlassian.

            The only workaround I could come up with: create a new Atlassian account and start from the beginning and import all the other spaces except the one that should be deleted.

            I still have this issue. Not fixed.

            Also note that you cannot create space shortcuts on the first space.

            Difficult to test drive the product when the default space is handicapped.
