      Issue Summary

The customer wants to have a reduced waiting time frame to generate new backup files in Confluence Cloud.

      Environment

      • Confluence Cloud - Backup Manager

        Steps to Reproduce

      1. Go to Confluence Settings > Backup manager > Create Backup
      2. Try to create a new backup file. A message will show up saying the estimated waiting time to generate a new backup (it will result in a 24h waiting)

      Expected Results

You should be able to create a new backup in less than 24h

      Actual Results

You need to wait for 24h to generate a new backup file.

      Workaround

Clear the backup timer (however, this option is not available for site-admins, for example - this feature request is addressing this point https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CLOUD-6617)

      Additional Customer Need:

It would be highly beneficial to allow customers to generate and download at least three backups per day in Confluence Cloud. This capability would:

      • Reduce the risk of data loss between critical business changes.
      • Enable automation workflows that require backups before and after major updates.

The current 24-hour restriction is a significant blocker for organizations with frequent changes or compliance requirements.
