Sorting the JIRA Issue/Filter macro by Organizations field gives an error

      Issue Summary

      When trying to sort a JIRA Issue/Filter macro by the Organizations field, the error message below is shown:

      JIRA project doesn't exist or you don't have permission to view it.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a JIRA Issue/filter macro with any filter;
      2. Select Display Options and insert the Organizations field under Columns to display;
      3. Insert the macro and publish the page
      4. Try to sort it by the Organizations field

      Expected Results

      The macro should sort the issues by the Organizations field.

      Actual Results

      The following error message is shown:

      "JIRA project doesn't exist or you don't have permission to view it.

      View these issues in JIRA"

      Workaround

      Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available

            I also noticed that if you have free text field in order by JQL you will be hit by this bug.

            Experienced also in Confluence/Jira server:

            when using a certain custom text field in the JQL used in the macro, it would throw that error when sorting by other fields on the rendered page.

            My workarounds:

            1. use a different "order by" field
            2. save that same JQL in a Jira filter, and then use that filter in the macro

            Any updates? Sorting a Jira macro from Confluence worked 2 weeks ago, and now the page throws an error when sorting the ORDER BY field, and no longer allows sorting of custom NUMERICAL fields.
