Companion download link for Windows missing on IE11 / Edge

      Summary

      IE11 / Microsoft Edge users cannot download the Atlassian Companion from in-product because the modal window does not render correctly. The "Download for Windows" button is not available to click and the coloration of the modal window does not look correct.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Visit a page with an attachment macro in Internet Explorer 11 or Microsoft Edge
      2. Click the Edit link for an attachment in the attachment macro
      3. In the upper right of the preview window, click the "Edit with" dropdown

      Expected Results

      "Download for Windows" button is prominent and available to click on

      Actual Results

      Only the "Download for Mac" button is visible

      Notes

      Some users are also facing this problem on other browsers on Windows.

      Workaround

      Download the Atlassian Companion directly from the Release Notes page:

            The windows button is there but the css is making it hide. Hover in the whitespace above the Mac download and the Windows download is there.

            It's pretty pathetic that for a company of Atlassian's size that this bug has still not even been assigned to an engineer to fix yet.

            All of my Windows users are seeing this while on Mac it gives download options for both Mac AND Windows.  Any update or ETA on a fix?

            I have the same issue and discover that I do not have MS Word installed but WPS suite installed.
