No error message when adding a Space Shortcut with link longer than 255 characters

Summary

A user is attempting to add the following URL as a Space Shortcut with more than 255 characters

After adding the URL and clicking the insert button, the window disappears but the link is not posted. No error message or warning appears. I am submitting this as a bug since if this is expected behavior, there is no warning or error when the expected outcome is not reached.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Access the Space
2. Under the section labeled ‘Space Shortcuts,’ select ‘add link’
3. In the ‘Insert Link’ window, select ‘Web Link’ from the left-hand menu
4. Paste the attached URL in the Address field and select the ‘Insert’ button
5. The link will not appear on the left-hand side under ‘Space Shortcuts’

Expected Result

We would expect to see the shortcut URL on the left-hand side of the Space under the ‘Space Shortcuts’ section.

Actual Result

If the length of the shortcut exceeds 255 characters, the window closes after selecting ‘Insert,’ but nothing appears on the left-hand menu under ‘Space Shortcuts.’
