    XMLWordPrintable

Details

    Description

      Summary

Using a "Create from template" in creating pages, the title doesn't get populated on the new page.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. As an administrator of the instance, or, a space, create a custom template to be used by the macro.
      2. Embed a "create from template" macro on a page.
      3. On preview or in the published mode, click on the macro to create a new page.
Note that the title configured on the macro does not populate on the newly created page

      Expected Results

The page is created with the correct title configured on the macro.

      Actual Results

The page is created with no title.

      Notes

      • As an important note, this only happens for custom templates. Default templates respect the title value and also the configuration of parameters like "@currentDate".
      • This affect both Legacy and Fabric editors.

      Workaround

      Insert the title manually
