Summary

We have noticed that the copy > paste feature for images is not working all the time and we are ending up with a broken image error displayed after publishing the page.

 This bug only affects the old editor.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Edit a Confluence page
2. Copy a image
3. Paste the image
4. Publish the page
5. Notice that instead of the image being displayed, there is an error message displayed

Expected Results

The image should be displayed as expected after publishing the page

Actual Results

The image it is not displayed and an error message Broken image is displayed:

This issue was noticed to be reproducible intermittently.

Workaround

If you use the Insert files and images macro to upload the image, it will work properly.
