Dynamic content macros do not get included in PDF exports

XMLWordPrintable

    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

Right now, when people PDF export pages, they get nothing from dynamic macros because the content is loaded asynchronously

      Here's a suggestion:

      • Add flag pdfExport in the descriptor
      • Use the same URL provided and invoke it the same way it's done with staticContentMacros but pass a flag or header

As a add-on developer, I'd set the pdfExport flag to true, and handle the request accordingly (i.e. plain HTML)
