            This workaround of using a column parameter is helping us as well. Thank you!

            Concerning the Workaround: thanks! That helps for text that is very short. But actually it is just a column which is aligned centered in itself. It would be nice to have something like

            {column:align=left}

            That would really help. In my case simply defining it as a column look even weirder because it is multi-line text; now displayed in a left column but center aligned.

            Look at the creation date and ask yourself when Atlassian will fix that. And that's not the only one. If I could decide for my company, I would move on to another tool.

            We are also experiencing this bug. The wiki markup does not seem to affect header image position.

            Would be great to have this fixed

            I've been experiencing this issue all day and trying to find a solution. The help text even says this: "Customize the look of your space with a header and footer. Use wiki markup to add text, links, macros and images (from the web or attached to a page in the space)." And it includes a link to wiki markup that says how to align images.

            Given that I can't left align the image, it basically means I can't put images in the header because having it centered looks weird.

            I guess I'll try the table workaround and see if that's acceptable.

            Edit: Here's the table workaround:

            {column:width=100px}
            **!image.png|align=left**
            {column}

            It comes very close to working, but not quite. It aligns it left, but it doesn't quite align it all the way so that it's flush with the page title. Using several columns and aligning it right might work better, assuming there are no objects on the right that the image must be flush with.

            Hi all,

            we also have this nasty bug.

            We really appeciate having full functioning alignment function.

            @Atlassian please do fix this alignment bug as soon as possible.

            In my opinion this is simply a bug. Where ever text can be set and formatted, it has to be possible to format it in all usually attributes: alignment, font, size, style. But since Atlassian doesn't care about its customers and not even react on this issue (for a year now), we can just look for another application.

            What if I want to be right aligned?

            Using "Tables" markup, the text can be left-aligned on header/footer. But this might be not so beautiful.

            I hope this would be helpful for some users.

            This is so frustrating!! It doesn't apply to the alignment of texts in header and footer. Please do something about it.
