Multiple JIRA Issue Macros on a single page on Confluence Cloud are prone to fail with "Unable to render JIRA issues macro. Connection to JIRA has timed out". The time to retrieve data for each macro significantly increases, the more JIRA Issues Macros are used in a page. This increase in time leads to timeout errors.

The issue also occurs for complex JQL when searching for issues using Jira Issues Macro, even though the amount of issues to be displayed is insignificant, Jira Issues Macro takes a long time to respond which can lead to Time Outs.

Improve the way Confluence Cloud retrieves data from JIRA Cloud and Jira Server/Data Center.
