Summary
Page with title which contain special character will have page ID in the url instead of having the page name as mentioned in this suggestion ticket CONF-11285. This break the task's location link in task report macro, the task's location url will lead you to Page Not Found error.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a page with title which contain special character like "%" , "+" , "&" etc.
- You will have the URL similar to this :
https://stan.jira-dev.com/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=1441800 - Create a task in this page.
- Create another page under the same space, add in the task report macro to list out the tasks under the same space.
- Click on the task's location link under the task appears on column for the page with special character in the title.
- It will bring you to Page Not Found and the url will be like:
https://stan.jira-dev.com/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=1441800?focusedTaskId=2
Expected Results
The task's location link should bring you to the page which include the task.
Actual Results
It show Page Not Found instead.
Solution / Workaround
Edit the page name and eliminate the special characters from the title so that you will have the page url in the general format like :
https://stan.jira-dev.com/wiki/display/PM/Notification+test
<instance URL>/wiki/display/<Space ID>/<Page Title>
