Summary
Creating an issue with a Unicode-6 character such as 🐝 in either Confluence or JIRA works fine, it is supported. However, if you put a Unicode-6 character in a JIRA Issue title, such as BACON-2 🐝, and bring it to Confluence in the JIRA Issues Macro, you will see instead of the character.
Environment
(Optional - If Applicable)
- This is the most up to date JIRA Cloud environment
Steps to Reproduce
- Create an issue in JIRA with a Unicode-6 character in the title, such as 🐝.
- Create a page in Confluence and add that same issue to the page using the JIRA Issues Macro.
- You will see in the title instead of 🐝.
Expected Results
You should see 🐝
Actual Results
You see
