Wrong description about migration from Cloud to Server on Web UI of Backup Manager on Confluence Cloud

    XMLWordPrintable

Details

    Description

While Migrating from Confluence Cloud to Confluence Server says that you need to install Confluence Cloud release locally and migrate the data to it first, the Web UI of Backup Manager of current Confluence Cloud wrongly describes as follows (see also the attached):

      Going to an Self-Hosted Instance

You can export and then import your data into a Self-Hosted Confluence instance. Currently, Confluence 5.3 and newer versions are able to import OnDemand backups.
If Confluence Self-Hosted 5.3 is not available for download yet, you can locally install version 5.7-OD-47-038 and then restore your data. See more details about version 5.7-OD-47-038 in our documentation.
