Description
NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.
If Confluence Self-Hosted 5.3 is not available for download yet, you can locally install version 5.5-OD-24-011 and then restore your data. See more details about version 5.5-OD-24-011 in our documentation.
from https://[domain].atlassian.net/wiki/plugins/servlet/ondemandbackupmanager/admin
5.5-OD-24-011 is not available in this case, and often times the current version may not be. Either because the one before it was the same version with minor changes, or there were emergency or hotfixes.
The "in our documentation" link just sends you here:
Migrating to an Installed Site
I understand that standalone >5.3 is available, but if a customer were to look for the current OD version, and not find it, it is a bit confusing. We should clarify that the current version may not be available due to certain circumstances.
