Steps to reproduce

1. Turn on collaborative editing
2. Create a shortcut link with Insert > Link, select Advanced
3. In the "Link" field type "atlassian@google", click Insert
4. Save the page
5. Hover over the new link, notice that it's pointing to http://www.google.com/search?q=atlassian
6. Edit the page, then immediately click Update without any other changes

Expected results

The link stays as-is (a Google search for "atlassian").

Actual results

The link is changed to point to the same page the user is editing.

Notes

This does not happen when collaborative editing is turned off.
