Option to Send Plain Text Emails Instead of HTML

      Due to an accessibility issue, HTML is not an option for certain users. Would like the option to be able to use plain text as opposed to HTML for notifications.

            Where also needing this feature because of e-mail security. I’m hoping for a global general setting, not only for default users like it's implemented in jira. It has to overwrite user settings.

            I understand this is in "gathering interest" phase, but I think for this particular feature, being so cleanly defined, there is not much to comment about. For what is worth, people from our team (me included) prefer text e-mails wherever possible. It would be really nice to have this, especially when Jira has that option. I just noticed the note above and I'm not sure whether we're using the cloud or server, so posting here as well.

            Please enable this. Plain text should work out of the box. I don’t even understand why this is a feature request.
