User Problem

Enterprise customers have large userbases. This can pose a challenge for administrators and partners, specially those that oversee multiple Atlassian Cloud organizations, to keep track of their overall license utilization for their organization (Atlassian Guard), sites and products (Jira, Confluence, etc.)

This is also problematic because org admins tend to be responsible for the technical aspects of the application not the financial aspect. These responsibilities usually lie with other members of the organization than might not have the technical training to be given org admin rights.

Suggested Solutions

Having the ability to retrieve comprehensive billing information via an officially supported API endpoint. This endpoint should have proper visibility over important billing information for the organization, sites and products. The endpoint should provide:

• Organization level license utilization (for Atlassian Guard)
• List of all sites and products within the organization
• Utilization by product:
  • Licenses available 
  • Licenses consumed
