We are looking for a feature that allows new comments to be highlighted in some way since the user last visited an issue.

This question came up for users who are not using email notifications. The team has a high issue turnover and email notifications and activity streams generate too much noise. Since the team collaborate to solve issues, there may be new activity on the issue (new comments) that should be highlighted when the page is visited.

To reiterate, I do not want to highlight comments. What I want is that new comments will be highlighted by JIRA when I visit an issue. Specifically I want JIRA to highlight new comments since my last visit to the issue.
