Description
The following issue was closed as a duplicate, but not linked to the ticket it duplicated. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/AOD-428. A search found nothing related.
Confluence will create a space every time you create a Jira project. This is generally not useful, as Product Development is a space in our Confluence instance, with products (Jira projects) being pages under that space. Really, I can't see how this is a useful feature at all, because who would have their Jira projects at the top level of their documentation hierarchy?
It would be more useful to have this configurable to:
- Create a space.
- Create a page under a particular space, or under a particular page.
- Do nothing.
I know the "supported solution" is to just delete the space, but that's a nightmare if you have more than a handful of users. Adding to our process is not a solution.
