Allow users to restore backups into instances with existing data

      Problem Definition

      Currently, it's not possible to restore backups into instances with existing user-generated data, limiting flexibility during testing and recovery operations.

      Suggested Solution

      Implement a mechanism to allow backups to be restored into existing sites which contain data, or provide a UI option to reset the site before restoring.

      Workaround

      As suggested in the knowledge base, follow the current procedure of using a newly provisioned product. You can either open a support request to have the product data reset. Unfortunately, there's no UI option for wiping all app data from a given site at the moment, as described in CONFCLOUD-73036 and JRACLOUD-77652.
