In the new navigation all major content is pushed to the sidebar leaving the top bar with only search and work item create options.

Some customers might prefer the previous approach where there was a balance in the amount of options distributed between the sidebar and top bar.

Suggestion

Make it possible to choose if you see an option in the sidebar or top bar.
