      Problem Definition

Right now the cloud-to-cloud migration for Jira does not have the option to skip users and groups when migrating data between two cloud sites.
This prevents Admins from migrating project data only.

      Suggested Solution

Having the ability to migrate project-only data from cloud-to-cloud directly will help reduce the total time and number of migrations required to achieve the desired result.

      Current Workarounds

      1. Cloud to Cloud via Data Center
        1. Stand up a DC Jira instance
        2. Migrate data from Source Cloud to Jira DC
        3. Delete users on the Jira DC
        4. Migrate from Jira DC to the Destination Cloud site
      2. CSV Import
      3. Cloud to Cloud to Cloud:
        • Using C2C
        1. Migrate from a Source Cloud to a Staging Cloud site
        2. Delete all users on the Staging Cloud site
        3. Migrate data from the Staging Cloud site to the Destination Cloud
