Production Assets Custom Field data updated with Sandbox Assets Workspace Id after been copied over from production

      Problem Definition

      At the moment, when the admin copies over data from the production data to sandbox , the existing Assets custom field can't be used. First thing, it is due to Assets objects are not copied over to Sandbox ( existing feature request : CLOUD-11254 ) and the custom fields still referring to the production Assets workspace id.

      Suggested Solution

      It will be great for the custom fields updated with the new workspace ID once the CLOUD-11254 feature is released.

      Why this is important

      This makes it easier for admins to use Sandbox data for troubleshooting and testing without needing to manually create a new assets custom fields and import the value via CSV.
