Hi,
Under Administration > Site Settings > Site Access > Access Requests the following information is displayed:
Your settings
- Site admins and trusted users can invite anyone to any product(s).
Note: Existing users can always request access to products, from an admin, both for themselves and for new users.
As an Administrator it would be extremely useful to be able to disable the option for existing users to request access to products for new users.
I know that you will say that under User Invites there's an option to enable/disable existing users from sending invites to anyone. But that setting does not work.
Many of our users keep on generating these invites via Slack (through a Jira add-on) sending invites to existing users but the invite is actually sent to a different email address (Slack's username in this case) which ends up creating an additional Atlassian account. This is becoming a nightmare to manage.
Simply stop allowing existing users (without Admin privileges) to send invites out!
Kind Regards,
Emiliyan
