Git LFS does not necessarily require the LFS object store be co-located with the Git repository itself. This suggestion requests storage of LFS object in Artifactory.

Rationale we've heard to date includes the benefit of being able to make use of an IT supported platform that's already in place.

That said, this suggestion needs more input both in breadth and depth before we can prioritise it.
