I want Bitbucket Server to let me know about it and offer me to reload the pull.

Today., I can spend days reviewing outdated content for a pull request without knowing that new content exists. The only possible solution is to rely on emails to detect this and refresh the page. This is not good enough in the case of very large pull requests.
