It would be nice to be able to designate the difference between people who have input on a review and the actual gatekeepers of a codeline (or owners of specific areas within a codeline) who have to provide approval for a change to be accepted.
The checks for handling the auto-merging of requests should be able to distinguish that X number of gatekeepers (rather than X number of reviewers overall) approve the review.
Additionally within this concept, it would be useful to allow gatekeepers to delegate their approval powers to another reviewer on a per review basis review for cases where someone else is the better technical expert on a specific item
