    • We collect Bitbucket feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

    Description

Within Bitbucket you can use a couple of formats to display some README text on the overview page of a repsoitory (possible markup dialects are python markdown, textilem reStructured Text ...) Those README.* files are rendered and displayed on the overview page of the repsoitory.

What I miss here is support of confluence markup as a possible format to be used within this mechanism.

As we are using JIRA (which uses confluence markup) and Bitbucket ((which does not support confluence markup), our users have to learn/use two different markup/markdown dialects to write something within two different application (although the products are manufactured by the SAME vendor Atlassian)
