With the changes for STASH-2744, Stash creates one rescope request for every ref modified during a push. Scheduling rescope processing for all of these requests can overwhelm Hazelcast and result in strange behavior elsewhere in the system. For example, immediately after pushing a large number of refs, browsing the project list might hang.
