We are using Git Bash (1.9.5.msysgit.0) with PuTTY 0.63 the Python Debug Environment. I have seen many systems hang after resolving the deltas. I have waited up to 15 minutes in the past. The solution was to <Ctrl-C> and run until it worked.

We found several discussion on git clone hang resolutions involving the SSH-2 winadj diagnostic requests. The previous Stash 2.7.1 had this issue logged: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/STASH-3824

We are running Stash 3.3.1 but the forcing of the winadj bug fix resolved the block for me and Logan. I ran 5 out of 5 new clones successfully without any hangs! 

Has the bug resurfaced in 3.3.1? Perhaps? I will be advising everyone to implement the winadj bug fix for now.
