We collect Bitbucket feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

Instead of asking customers to change the server.xml we should look into making those settings (port, contextPath come to mind) overridable so that they can be changed without having to change any files.

E.g. to change the port you could use:

./bin/start-stash.sh --port=8090
