I have configured my test instance with 2 user directories ... 1st on the list is Delegated LDAP and 2nd the Stash internal directory.

      Two issues:
      1. REST api requires password set which does not make sense for delegated auth directory.

      2. Delegated auth users admin page has a confusing "change password" link.

      Thanks!

            Hi pthairu,

            Thanks for your bug report.

            1. REST api requires password set which does not make sense for delegated auth directory.

Could you please elaborate on that? I'm not sure which part of the API you are referring to?

            2. Delegated auth users admin page has a confusing "change password" link.

I can't reproduce this. Could you please attach a screenshot and tell us the path (i.e. is it /CONTEXT/admin/users/view?name=USERNAME to the page that you mentioned?

For read only directory you should see a message like the following: "You cannot edit this user's display name, password or email address as they are stored in a read-only user directory."

            Cheers,
            Stefan
