    • We collect Bitbucket feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

Within a project a typical workflow would require us to create a new repository as a clone (or fork) of an existing repository. Pull requests should also be available between repository forks.

Is there an official release target date for version 2.4 yet?

a22732 yes it contains forks (otherwise we probably wouldn't have posted it here).

The "release notes" is actually the API change log intended for plugin developers, not the wider consumer audience, hence the "todo" as it is incomplete.

It's in a top secret lab. Unfortunately we can't tell you where, otherwise we would have to kill you

On a more serious note, it's a build we've been running internally for a while, but the beta is now available under on our EAP downloads page under:

            http://www.atlassian.com/en/software/stash/download-eap

Please note that as a beta, this release of Stash is still under heavy development and should not be used in production environments. We are aware of a number of bugs but feel free to raise issues under http://jira.atlassian.com/browse/STASH

Hi Mohan, we can't commit to any dates or timelines but it will be soon.

When can we expect this feature in the live workflow ? Long wait time ???

Just to settle you all down - we will be releasing forking with pull requests between forks, and we are currently using it internally (so it's not just talk!)

@Viðar Svansson: fair enough, though if automation of doing this often is the goal, perhaps the Stash Command Line Interface (SCLI) would be of use for you? (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/org.swift.stash.cli)

@Harshad: I agree, perhaps the description of this ticket should be updated to reflect that forking implies pull requests across repos.
